Hyaluronic Acid
MAC-LABS supports our clients with development and commercialization of hyaluronic acid based therapeutics. We utilize SEC-MALS, large particle sizing, mass spectrometry and NMR to verify quality of raw materials and finished products. Critical attributes, such as soluble fraction percentage, molecular weight, and distribution, degree of modification, enzymatic stability, and concentration of residual cross-linker are common analyses performed. HA binding to CD44 can be assessed utilizing ELISA.
